Our priority is to deliver first class client service
The firm was founded in 1985 by Paul Kingham and Nicholas Liu, who both met at Grant Thornton and operated from premises on Berry Street in Liverpool.
The firm grew rapidly, building a large client base, and further expanded in 1997 when it acquired Martindale & Co, a well-established practice in St Helens. This is now the St Helens branch of the firm, and operates as 'Martindale Kingham'.
In 2001, the firm acquired Brown and Lonsdale in Leyland, which continues to operate under the same name, and is now the Leyland branch of the group. In 2008, the firm merged with Denisons, a single-partner firm, in Birkenhead. Martin Denison has remained with the firm, and now acts as tax partner for the whole group.
As well as accountancy, audit and tax skills, our partners also have individual specialisms which enable us to provide clients with a first class tailored service. With our wealth of experience we pride ourselves on delivering an unparalleled service to all clients, whatever their size or sector.
In addition to traditional auditing, accounting and tax services we also provide advice on how to improve and develop your business. Whether you need an integrated business strategy, access to corporate finance or specialist tax advice we are here to help you achieve your goals.
We work hard to get to know you in order to deliver timely, individual advice on how to improve your business and personal wealth.
